Minor Illusion 5e uses can be done in two ways, either you produce an illusion of sound or image of an object, within the range of 30 feet which can be last no more than 1 minute. Most importantly The duration of illusion can be shortened from 1 minute just by dismissing it, or if you cast this spell Then the previously casted illusion ends. Now if you create an illusion of a sound, then its weight of sound can range up to a Scream from a whisper. It means you can create an only sound no visuals, but the sound can be of any type. It can be your own voice, a crying baby, scream of a monster, or a beating of drums or anything you choose. The sound lasts until the duration ends. When coming to create an illusion of an object, you can create anything no more than larger than a 5-foot cube. You can create anything under this size limit. The object will not be able to produce any sound, smell, light, and even not be able to move around. Even things can also pass through it. After all, it will be an illusion. It is up to the player’s intelligence that how smartly he uses this spell. As it can be very handy for some players who have great illusionary thinking.
If a creature uses its action to examine the sound or image. The creature can determine that it is an illusion with a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. If a creature discerns the illusion for what it is, the illusion becomes faint to the creature.
